Goals

Founded in 1973, the New York City Chapter of the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women, Inc. (NaCOPRW) is an organization whose purpose is:
TO promote the full participation of Puerto Rican and other Hispanic women in the economic, social and political life of the mainland United States and Puerto Rico.
TO protect the privileges and interests of Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics.
TO inquire into civic abuses and to seek reformation thereof. TO liaison with appropriate governmental bodies to protect our rights.
TO coalesce with other national, state and local organizations to further common goals.
TO develop good citizenship.
TO foster a healthy interest in the civic affairs of the community.
TO establish and maintain a network to serve the membership.
TO promote Puerto Rican women in their roles as leaders in their various chosen fields of endeavor.
TO enrich our members through educational workshops, training seminars, lectures, and the dissemination of information.
